According to FINRA public records, former broker Gregory Alan Levine (Greg Alan Levine) has five disclosed customer disputes. FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc.) registers and regulates brokers and brokerage firms.
Customers filed the disputes against Levine between June 2015 and March 2018. All claims have settled for payouts ranging from $2,589 to $155,000.
The four most recent disputes alleged that Levine failed to repay loans from his clients or failed to return money that he invested outside of his firm and without the firm’s approval. The fifth dispute alleged that Levine overcharged for commissions and recommended unsuitable investments products.
Levine was discharged from First Allied Securities, Inc. in June 2017. First Allied stated that Levine “violated firm policy by engaging in an alleged unapproved private securities transaction and failed to report a customer complaint alleging a trade was not authorized.” Levine began working at First Allied in July 2012.
In January 2018, FINRA barred Levine from acting as a broker.
